It seems that every time we turn around, we see some new workout routine on tv. But, what is the best new workout routines? Let’s review some of the newest and latest workout routines, and you can decide for yourself!
There are lot’s of new-fangled fad workouts! I think the most important thing is to not get bored! That is why there is always the latest and greatest in the fitness industry. There are all sorts of ways to stay fit and get moving! We have many more Workout Routine Articles Now Available.
Wii Fit – There are several different workouts here, but, the biggest problem with it is, when competing on some of these games, we don’t always use proper form. For instance, the boxing is a repetitive movement on the game that doesn’t necessarily have to be proper form in order to ‘win’ the game. I don’t necessarily recommend this one. However, the yoga on the Wii can be pretty good.
PX90 – This is an all over body workout that can be great if you are already an athlete. The biggest problem with at home workout routines is sticking with them. When we are at home, it can be quite difficult not to get distracted. The phone rings, or the kids need something, or while working out, you notice that the dishes are not done yet. It’s easy to find an excuse NOT to exercise when at home. But, if you are motivated enough to stick with it, it can be a pretty good workout. It uses your own body weight, some hand weights, a pull up bar, and some resistance bands.
Shake Weights – This is ridiculous! I’m sorry, but, I’m going to just say it like it is. It might be fun for a second, but, it’s really kind of pointless. You can just use normal weights. There is a great SNL parody on the shake weight if you have a good sense of humor!
Zumba – This is a great workout routine, and a lot of fun. You can get the DVD’s, but, again, if you aren’t motivated at home, you won’t stick with it! The good news is, you can probably find a certified Zumba teacher in your area. This is one fitness craze that is catching on because it really is a lot of fun and can get you in great shape.
