Getting ripped abs is the goal of many men nowadays. They are considered by many as one of the most important parts of the ideal male physique. Still getting them is easier set than done, especially if you´re not a genetic freak. Even people who are very strong and are in great shape find it hard to get that ripped look sometimes. Still, by putting in some time and effort most people should be able to get those six pack abs.
If you want to get ripped abs the most important thing you will have to do is lose fat. Yes, you will also need to train your abdominal muscles, but if they are covered with fat they still won’t have that six pack look to them. The best way to lose fat is by doing lots of cardio and dieting. Try doing cardio five times a week, for at least 20 minutes. Always eat clean and avoid fattening foods and too many carbohydrates.
The best exercises for the abs include sit ups, crunches and v-ups. It doesn’t really matter too much which of these you do, just make sure you work those abs hard. Don´t do these ab workouts every day though. Your abdominal muscles need time to recover. Twice a week is usually more than enough to get get good results. Some trainers even recommend only working out a particular muscle group just once a week to allow enough recovery time.
