Or head over to the premier course at the Our Lucaya Reef Village which is The Lucayan.  The Lucayan was the first golf course built on the Grand Bahamas Island.  The course was originally designed 1962, but after the Hurricane Jeanne in 2004 it required a makeover. The Lucayan is ranked among the top 100 courses in the world and has become one of the Bahamas’ most celebrated courses.

Guests of the Our Lucaya Reef Village will get preferred tee times.  The Our Lucayan provides complimentary transportation to and from both courses.  The Pro Shop, located at both courses can provide all the equipment you will need.  Prices will vary from season to season, day or twilight, and 9 to 18 holes of play.

And after a round of golf, perhaps some time at the recently renovated spa for a couple’s massage.  The Our Lucaya has one of the largest spas on the island and worth checking it out.  The Senses Spa is a luxurious retreat with the charm of Bahamian hospitality and a lifestyle to enchant and renew the spirit.  Indulge in facials, massages, wraps and nail care; a professional staff is available to assist you in choosing the best restful therapy to fit your needs.  Of course you can head up stairs to the renovate fitness center with treadmill, elliptical machines, stationary bikes and weights and if you are a joiner take a Pilates, yoga, or a spin classes as there is always something active going on.

As part of the all-inclusive vacation package, guests can enjoy dining in one of the 14 restaurants.  At the Our Lucaya, guests can enjoy cuisine from Mexico, Greece, Italy, and India all with a hint of Bahamian influence.  Guests are recommended to make dinner reservations particularly during the high season. Although the dress code is resort casual some restaurant may require jackets.   Special note, it is recommend that guests review the all-inclusive dining rules as there are restrictions on the frequency guests are allowed to dine in certain restaurants.
