This exercise is done using leg raises, by lifting your legs in front of you. For toning your abs, this is the best exercise next to the bicycle exercise. Keep your legs from swinging to be able to do this exercise correctly. If you swing your legs, you can harm yourself and minimize the results from the exercise.

Another great six pack abs exercise is the crunch on an exercise ball.  The great thing about this exercise is that it can be done from the convenience of home.  However, you obviously have to have an exercise ball for this to work.  Slowly lower your back onto the ball.  Put your arms up high again and then start to contract your abs and lift up your torso.  The burn from this exercise is pretty intense.

Overall, six pack abs exercises are a great way to tone your core.  This is something that will have to be done often. Make yourself a schedule, and remember to stay with it, if you want to see results. Keeping to the schedule that you have set up is crucial to your success, no matter what type of exercise you choose. Doing the exercises for a little while, then stopping them and starting again later, will not give you good results. You will essentially be the same as when you first began.
