Affirmation means to make firm in the mind. Why don’t affirmations work for some people? There are many reasons, one reason is what they are saying and how they are saying it. It is important to use the correct affirmation and to mix as much emotion and imagery while you are saying the affirmation. For those wanting to improve their self esteem there is a type of affirmation that is far more powerful than all the rest. I have personally used these affirmations on myself and hundreds of clients and have seen miracles happen. Most affirmations are linear and weak.
Circular affirmations are like facing two mirrors together and trying to see the end. There is no end to it, it continues forever. An example of your average affirmation for self esteem would be, I love myself. It starts and ends quickly. Circular affirmations are far more powerful and work so much faster. If you want to improve your self esteem, what you want to do is make sure you look directly into one eye. You will need to only look into one eye with the amount of focus you will need to make this work. You want to bore the conscious mind by staring into one eye; this will open up the portal to the unconscious, so that you can rewire your old beliefs about self esteem. With practice this should not take you any longer than 60 seconds. Start by choosing to believe that what you are about to say is true, or do your best to suspend your disbelief while you are in the moment of saying the circular affirmation.
What is going to make this work for you? There are four keys that will allow you to have so much more self esteem and confidence. The first three are repetition, repetition and repetition. And the last thing is your own belief in it. I was once asked by a friend of mine how do you believe. I told her that belief is a choice.
Explaining how circular affirmations work is a lot like explaining what salt tastes like if you have never tasted it.
