The western side of the park is home to a herd of bison, living in the open air at the Bison Paddock.
Presidio and the Golden Gate Bridge
Our final location is one that visitors to San Francisco shouldn’t miss, the famous Golden Gate Bridge and a trip to the Presidio. The bridge is widely regarded as an engineering marvel and is well known for its iconic looks and beautiful views from its decks. A short walk from the bridge is the fantastic Presidio. The Presidio has a long military history, being used to house Spanish and Mexican troops in the past before ending up as a U.S. military base.
